Community Smart Card
The Community Smart is accepted by many local businesses such as mortgage companies, restaurants, reals estate agents, grocery stores, carpet supply, tire companies, and many more. The business will donate part of the purchase to the non-profit you've designated. Here’s how it works.
| You obtain a card for free by going to www.communitysmart.com Click the Sign Up tab at the top of the page, then choose Get a Community Card. When signing up you designate which non-profit organization you would like to benefit from your card's use. |
| You present your card at participating businesses during check out, and a percentage of your purchase will automatically be sent to your chosen non-profit. |
| That's it! You can click the Merchants tab at the Community Smart website to see all the participating merchants in your area, and the amount they donate. |
Community Smart cards are also available in debit and credit cards forms, but a standard card can be used in conjunction with cash, check, or an existing credit card.
There are already well over one hundred local businesses helping so far, and the list is growing every day (see website for complete list). This program is a great way to support a local non-profit, at no cost to you. Everyone wins! Apply today at
