We provide specialized medical care to over 1,500 animals a year. With the help of our Good Samaritan team of veterinarians, we are able to perform surgeries, nutritional care, detailed exams and much more to give these animals the best chance of survival. On average, Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue releases 70% of the patients who come to us for help. The majority return to where they were found. In certain cases, animals are released to special release sites provided by generous members of our community who love animals and want to share their property with them. If you have property with suitable wildlife habitat and year round water access, please contact us if you would like to be a release site. Click here for a slide show of our best releases.
